Singapore – The Asian Consulting Group (ACG), the Philippines’ leading tax advisory firm, successfully held its International Tax and Investment Roadshow in Singapore on April 15, 2025, at the renowned Filipino-owned restaurant Chez Suzette. The landmark event brought together investors, business leaders, and members of the Filipino and Singaporean business communities for an afternoon of strategic collaboration, dialogue, and visionary leadership.
The event featured an Investment and Tax Briefing led by ACG Founder and CEO Mon Abrea, who emphasized the Philippines’ readiness to become a top destination for sustainable and inclusive investments. The occasion also marked the official book launch of Reimagining the World Without Climate Change, the second volume of the globally acclaimed Reimagining the World series, reinforcing ACG’s advocacy for global tax policy reform, good governance and sustainable economic development.
A key highlight of the roadshow was the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing between the Philippine Chamber of Commerce Singapore (PhilCham Singapore), represented by its President Benjamin Ong, and the Asian Consulting Group, officially launching the ACG Satellite Office in Singapore. This will provide on-the-ground support to foreign investors and overseas Filipinos who seek to invest and do business in the Philippines.
To further strengthen regional ties, ACG also forged a strategic partnership with the Singapore Business Foundation (SBF), representing over 32,000 Singapore-registered companies, including trade associations and foreign chambers. This partnership aims to facilitate cross-border investment flows, business matching, and joint initiatives promoting ease of doing business in the ASEAN region.
This event is part of the International Tax and Investment Roadshow in Asia, which followed earlier stops in South Korea, Japan, and Thailand. After Singapore, the roadshow continues to Taiwan and Vietnam, then expands to Australia and the United Arab Emirates in May 2025, before heading back to the United States with key engagements in Washington DC, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in June 2025. As part of this global initiative, more ACG Satellite Offices will be launched in Sydney, Australia, San Francisco, California, London, United Kingdom and Dubai, UAE. to further strengthen support for foreign investors and global Filipino communities.
“Our mission is simple: to make the Philippines an easier, more attractive place to invest. This satellite office is not just a milestone for ACG—it’s a gateway for Singaporean businesses and overseas Filipinos to engage, invest, and grow with confidence,” said Mon Abrea during the event.
The Singapore leg of ACG’s roadshow is part of its broader mission to promote foreign direct investment, ESG investing, and ease of doing business, global tax policy reforms across Asia and beyond. If you have tax issues in the Philippines, CONSULT ACG—consult@acg.ph or visit www.acg.ph for more tax updates.
