Consulting firm Gate One launches new office in Paris

International consulting firm Gate One has launched a new office in France, marking its first office in mainland Europe.
Founded in 2013, Gate One specialises in topics such as organisational consulting, digital transformation, customer experience, operating models, data and AI strategy, human capital, and employee experience. In the UK, the firm has bagged multiple awards for its track record, including by Consultancy.uk and the Financial Times.
In 2019, Gate One was acquired by Havas Group and, under the French multinational’s banner, set out on an international growth strategy. The consultancy entered the US in 2022, followed soon after by Ireland. This year it expanded into India – and now France has joined its footprint.
“Entering France is a very exciting milestone for Gate One,” said Ben Tye, Managing Director of Gate One. “A key factor in our decision to join Havas Group was the opportunity to leverage the group’s geographical reach to provide greater value and service to clients. This marks a significant milestone in our global growth journey to service the needs of clients in France and deliver meaningful change.”
Estimated at over €22 billion, France is Europe’s third-largest consulting market behind the UK and Germany. In the landscape, Gate One France aims to position itself as an alternative to the large traditional consulting firms such as the Big Four, or French-origin groups such as Capgemini Invent, Sia and Wavestone.
“In a complex world, it is by bringing together disciplines, experiences, and perspectives that we find the right answers,” said Orianne Trouillet, who has been appointed Head of Gate One in France. “This approach is particularly valuable in the French market where expectations around transformation are high, but operational execution often remains the weak link. That’s where we make the difference.”
The launching team
Trouillet most recently was the CEO of Ekino Consulting for almost eight years and has driven CX strategy at Havas Group. She boasts over 14 years of experience in the telecoms industry, including working for Orange as its Head of Design and Usability, as well as working for Nortel Networks.
The team she leads in Paris has diverse backgrounds in consulting (IBM Consulting, Vertone), major corporates (Air France), marketing & advertising (Havas Group), and specialist fields (cognitive sciences, design, AI and digital). “Our objective is clear: to bring targeted expertise in customer experience, marketing and organisational transformation, as well as digital, data and AI, to help deliver meaningful change.”
Tye stated: “Under Orianne’s leadership, I have every confidence that Gate One will thrive in France and by collaborating with other Havas Group agencies, we can offer clients a unique, and more creative, consulting experience.”
